The base of this pottery is coiled buff clay onto shich coiled stoneware was applied. The richly textured neck breaks to allow viewing of the inside details of adobe dwellings. Th epiece was fired at low (cone 04) temperature to allow the granularity of the stoneware to show through. A band of red acrylic wask is applied to the body and inside neck.
