Danielle was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. From an early age she has demonstrated a natural talent for drawing and painting. Art centers provided Danielle with guidance and support. At the Sharon Art Center, Sharon NH, she studied oil painting with Sydney Willis. Sydney has studied under Robert Douglas Hunter, a prominent artist of the "Boston School Painters". Danielle also studied portrait and figure painting in oil with Janice Dolan. At the Essex Art Center, Lawrence, Ma., Danielle studied with Mark Hayden. She paints from life, portraits and still life in both oils and pastels.

At the Whistler House Museum of Art, in Lowell, Ma. as well as at the Chelmsford Art Center, Danielle studied painting in acrylic with Tom Gill. Danielle and Tom have shared an art studio in the Western Avenue Studios, in Lowell, Ma. During those years, Danielle developed a style of painting that is a direct response of how she sees and feels about her subject. Her style is realistic and impressionist. She paints mainly "alla prima", meaning that she paints in one session from life.

Danielle lives in southern New-Hampshire with her husband and one of her daughters. She accepts commissions.
