Call for Artwork

Mark Ewell, proprietor of the Wicked Big Cafe has generously offered to allow HAA artists to display their work in his charming coffee shop/cafe. The Wicked Big Cafe is located on 19 Essex Street, Haverhill. It is in very near proximity to Wingate Street which has always been the art center of the city. His cafe has an absolutely stunning atmosphere with brick walls, small table and "comfy" chairs in which folks can meet and socialize over a cup of his espressos, lattes and other beverages. He makes his own baked treats which render a very pleasant aroma (i.e. yummmy) throughout. This is certainly an opportunity to display your work in one of the cultural gems of the city.

Mark has wall space for 6 to 8 moderately sized pieces of work. Mark would like an artist statement on the body of work and requests an opening reception (preferable on a Saturday afternoon). Artwork remains up for a month and Mark charges no commission for the sale of any work. Mark is currently booked thru June. For more information, please contact Don Herook or the webmaster.
