New members bring fresh ideas and creative ways of seeing. As such, we welcome new members of all ages, media preferences and skill levels.
Membership Levels
Basic Membership
Our Basic membership dues are a modest 25 dollars a year. Basic membership allows you all benefits of the Haverhill Art Association including participation in all our events, workshops, demonstrations and socials.
Member Plus
With the dawning of our new web site, we are opening up a new class of membership called Member Plus. Member Plus status provides all the benefits afforded with the Basic membership plus an opportunity to gain some additional internet exposure. As a Member Plus, you'll be allowed to store images of your artwork on our web server. Your artwork will be featured in one or more of the many online galleries we maintain. Plus Members will also have their own artist page which will allow the artist to elaborate more on their views of art. Artist pages provide an excellent opportunity to profile the artist. Contact information and a link to the artists personal web site (if the artist has one) will be provided. These artist pages will also display images of their artwork which will serve as links to pages which display the piece in more detail. Details of the artwork will include an artist statement, size, media, price (if for sale) and information on how to contact the artist to arrange for sale. Member Plus status is an additional 25 dollars a year. It's like having your own personal web site for a fraction of the cost.

Signing up is simple. Just download the Membership Form, fill it out and mail it along with a check for your dues.
Submitting Artwork for the website
Submitting artwork to be included in the gallerys is simple...
Step 1 - Print the Website Artwork Cover Form. This includes the contact information that we will use in the event we have any questions regarding your submissions.
Step 2 - Print the Website Artwork Details Form for every piece of artwork you would like to submit. This form includes information on the individual piece of artwork you would like to submit (i.e. Title, Size, Medium etc.).
Step 3 - Prepare the CD of the images you will use to exhibit your artwork on the website. We use two size images. A small (thumbnail) image for use on the gallery pages and a full sized image that is viewed with additional information about the piece. Thumbnails are 150 pixel by 150 pixel with a resolution of 96 dpi. They should be placed in a file called "small" or "thumbnails" on the CD. The full size images have only a 400 pixel width requirement (height can vary) also with a 96 dpi resolution. They should be placed in a file called "full" or "large" on the CD.
Don't know anything about pixels or resolutions? Thats OK, just put all your pictures on the CD and we'll figure it out. You can always contact the webmaster at webmaster@HaverhillArtAssociation.org with any questions you may have. We can even arrange to have pictures of your work taken.
